World Oil Prices Decline In Wake of U.S. Statements on Iran

The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was falling Tuesday morning after President Barack Obama explained the U.S. position on sanctions against Iran.

The price of an April futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was down 10 cents to $106.62 a barrel by 9:00 Moscow time. The price of an April futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was off 23 cents to $123.57 in London.
