Gazpromneft Khantos Sets Fracking Record in July

In June, the Gazprom Neft subsidiary Gazpromneft Khantos, which is operates in Tyumen Region, conducted a record number of hydraulic fracturing operations at new wells and wells in the company's main stock, the company reported in a news release. This work increased the average daily production figures for the enterprise by over 250 tons of oil in the accounting period. 

The company's records show a total of 95 fracking operation were conducted at the South Priobsk, Zimniy and Orekhovo-Yermakovsk fields. In previous months, no more than 77 operations had been conducted.

Besides this record, Gazpromneft Khantos conducted its first 8-stage fracking at a horizontal well in the South Priobsk field as part of it tight oil development program.

At a depth of 4,059 meters, the horizontal section of the well runs 1,002.7 meters.

The debit at the well is 150 tons of oil a day, a figure more than double that planned.
