125 Kw Biogas Plant Started Up At Pig Farm In Ukraine

The owners of a 10,000-head pig farm in Pidgorodnee village, Ukraine have re-built the existing slurry storage 2400 m3 into a biogas reactor, Zorg Biogas reported in a news release.

Zorg Biogas developed the detailed technical documentation, supplied 100% of high quality German equipment and supervised the construction and montage. The biogas plant was successfully implemented and just started to convert 40 tons of slurry daily into biogas.

The 125 kW gen set is going to be switched soon. The plant will cover 80% energy demand of the pig farm.
