Recoverable resources of the Russian Arctic region are estimated at 106bn tons of oil equivalent, the president of the Russian Gas Society, Pavel Zavalny, has told a conference on Arctic oil and gas. He said gas reserves were estimated at 69.5tn cubic meters.
