The Kazakh government has come up with quotas for foreign experts invited in 2014 to participate in upgrading the Shymkent oil refinery, Novosti-Kazakhstan has reported. The quota equals 890 people.

The Ukrainian govenrment will on January 15 discuss a bill to amend the list of assets not subject to privatization. The list currently includes the oil and gas company Chornomornaftogaz (Black Sea Oil and Gas).

10.01.2014 Russia cuts oil and diesel fuel export duties

The Russian government has lowered crude oil and diesel fuel export duties in 2014, Itar-Tass reported on January 10.

The export duty for crude oil will be calculated using the 0.59 ratio from January 1 to December 31, 2014.

31.10.2013 Belarus Cuts Oil Export Duties

From 1 November 2013 Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and derivatives, which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Customs Union, the Belarusian news agency BelTA reported on October 30.
