Tender procedures for TANAP pipeline to be completed by late 2014

All tender procedures within the project on construction of the Trans-Anatolian (TANAP) gas pipeline will be completed by late 2014, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev on June 4, Azernews has reported.

"At present, the tenders are being held. Presumably, all procedures will be finished in November. The construction work will be launched then," he told journalists.

TANAP, developed by Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR in collaboration with Turkish Botas and the energy company TPAO, will deliver Shah Deniz gas to the Turkish-Greek border from eastern Turkey.
