Wood Group Kenny awarded engineering contract for Shah Deniz

Wood Group Kenny (WGK) will provide engineering and project management services for the Subsea Execute phase of the second stage of development of Azerbaijan's giant Shah Deniz field, Azernews has reported.

The news was announced by the WGK Company on June 3. The company has been awarded a £36 million call-off contract for 2014 with BP Azerbaijan under the 2007 Global Agreement.

The award of this contract is an addition to the subsea engineering work currently carried out under the BP Global Agreement, which covers engineering and project management services in the North Sea, Angola and Gulf of Mexico.
