Russia’s largest wind farm to be built near Murmansk

Windlife Renewables from the Netherlands has said it would begin to build a 200 MW wind farm near the village of Teriberka in Murmansk Region in 2015. The project estimated at 280mn euros is to be implemented jointly with the German company WSB Neue Energien.  The construction is to be finished in October 2016. The wind farm will consist of 80 turbines 2 MW each, which will generate some 650 GWh of renewable energy per annum. Currently the company is looking for a supplier of turbines.
