Yamal LNG Construction Approved

Yamal LNG has been allowed to build infrastructure, install production facilities and a liquification plant, as well as to dispatch LNG and gas condensate to customers. The project provides for producing up to 16.5mn tons of LNG per annum, using the resources of the Yuzhno-Tambeysky field.

Its established reserves were estimated at end-2012 at 907bn cubic metres, according to PRMS international standards. The project is being implemented by Yamal LNG.
