World Oil Prices Rise On Reports From Japan

The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Monday morning as Japan reported better than expected data on its GPD growth from April to June 2011.

The price of a September futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up 1 cent to $85.39 a barrel by 8:10 Moscow time. The price of a September futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up 22 cents to $108.25 in London.
