World Oil Prices Rise On European Summit

The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Monday morning as investors reacted to news from the European summit on the debt crisis.

The price of a November futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up 52 cents to $87.92 a barrel by 8:00 Moscow time. The price of a November futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up 54 cents to $110.10 in London.
