Slavneft Produces 8.95 Million Tons of Oil in First Half 2011

From January to June 2011, Slavneft produced 8.95 million tons of oil, or 2.2 percent more than in the same period in 2010, the company reported in a news release. The company also produced 422.3 billion cubic meters of gas in this period, or 1.7 percent less than in the first half of 2010.

In the first six months of the year, Slavneft drilled 419,100 meters of rock and launched 113 new wells. Compared to the same period in 2010, drilling was down 1.5 percent, while the number of wells launched grew 41.3 percent.

Slaveneft also improved its recovery of associated petroleum gas (APG) in the first half of 2011 over the fist half of 2010, by 4.5 percent, achieving  75.7-percent recovery rate.
