Russia's Transneft Come up with Deadline for Zapolyarye Third Stage

Works on the third stage of the Zapolyarye pipeline will start this winter, Transneft Vice President Aleksey Sapsay has said.

Feasibility studies have been finished and permission documents have been obtained for the third stage, Sibnefteprovod’s press service said.

The works on the pipeline are scheduled to be completed in 2016. After that, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft, Gazprom, Lukoil and SeverEnergia will begin to contribute their oil to the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline.

Meanwhile, Chelyabinsk Piping Plant and SOT, which is controlled by Rimera, will by the end of 2013 send pipes for the third stage of the pipeline Zapolyarye-Purpe.
