Russian oil production down in May

Russian oil and gas condensate output edged down 0.1 percent in May from April, declining for the fifth month in a row in terms of daily production, Energy Ministry data showed on June 2, on the back of the depletion of fields in West Siberia, Reuters has reported.
 
In tonnes, Russian oil output reached 44.535 million, versus 43.119 million in April. Russian oil pipeline exports fell to 4.130 million bpd from 4.295 million bpd in April.
