December 20, 2013

The Alnas plant in Almetyevsk has successfully completed tests of a new pump at the wells of Purneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft, in Nizhnevartovsk. The new pump, the 0215ETsNAKI5-200M1-2250 was in operation for 180 days.

The pump worked in a normal regime during the tests, Neft Rossii has reported. The tests confirmed that the pump’s efficiency was 7% higher than that of the currently used pumps, and that it saves electricity. The pump’s design features the optimal number and location of neck bearings, shafts with involute splines and end pieces with built-in radial bearings ensuring reliability and durability.

As a result of the tests, it was decided to continue using the equipment, and the customer recommended that Alnas launch serial production of the new pump.
