Russia’s Uvatneftegaz invests in training

Uvatneftegaz has been doing its utmost to motivate its personnel, the company’s director for personnel, Lilia Kapshanova, has said at a round-table discussion on interaction between the government and businesses in professional training for the energy industry.

Uvatneftegaz has been paying serious attention to students of Tyumen universities. In the framework of cooperation with the Tyumen Oil and Gas University, students are encouraged to practise their skills at the company during their education process.

Experienced supervisors help new employees in their adaptation to company requirements, monitoring their work during a year after admission. The company also launched this year a project to prepare trainers, in the framework of cooperation with Rosneft. Trainers will be taught how to manage personnel, resolve conflicts, protect labor, monitor adherence to safety rules, plan, organize and control production etc.
