Lukoil Issues Warning of False Accounts in LinkedIn

False accounts allegedly belonging to one of Lukoil’s vice-presidents appeared in the social network LinkedIn recently, Lukoil’s press service has said. The accounts send spam messages.
 
Lukoil press service has called on the users of LinkedIn and other social networks to treat messages sent not from Lukoil’s corporate accounts with caution and to check their authenticity with the company in order to avoid possible negative consequences.
 
Lukoil’s press service stressed that Lukoil and its top managers never use social networks for business communication.
