Lukoil Begins Preparing Offshore Installations for Filanovsky Deposit

The shipyard Krasnye Barrikady in Astrakhan has begun building the platform for a living module for the second stage of Lukoil’s Vladimir Filanovsky deposit (PZhM-2) in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea, Lukoil’s press service has said.

The shipyard will build two substructures and the upper part of the living module, as well as a bridge to link the living module with the offshore ice-resistant platform.

PZhM-2 is designed to house 55 people and will be equipped with a helicopter pad. It is to be commissioned in autumn 2016.
