During a Gazprom delegation visit to Romania this week, the sides noted that calculations on South Stream crossing Romanian territory have been completed.
The sides noted the issue of building the gas pipeline in Romanian should continue to be on the agenda, Gazprom reported in a news release.
Russia has supplied natural gas to Romania since 1979. In 2009, Gazprom delivered 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas to the Balkan nation. Russia and Romania have long-term gas supply contracts effective through 2030.
