December 18, 2013

The chief executive officer of Russia’s gas giant Gazprom, Alexei Miller, said on December 17 he had no plans to discuss the creation of a tripartite gas consortium with Ukrainian partners, Itar-Tass has reported.

Miller took part in a meeting between Russian and Ukrainian presidents Vladimir Putin and Viktor Yanukovich later on December 17.

“The issue of creating a tripartite gas consortium has not been a subject of the negotiations between Gazprom and Ukraine’s Naftogaz for a long time,” he told reporters.
