Gazprom pumps more gas via Belarus in 2013

In 2013, OAO Gazprom Transgaz Belarus secured the transit of 48.8 billion m3 of natural gas, which is the largest figure on record over the last five years, BelTA reported on March 28. The company also registered a new gas transit record for the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline — 34.7 billion m3, the press service of the company told BelTA after the latest general meeting of shareholders and the session of the supervisory board.

The general meeting of shareholders also okayed the company’s statement of affairs, the report on profits and losses, proposals to pay dividends in 2013, and distribute profits in 2013-2014. A new composition of the supervisory board of Gazprom Transgaz Belarus was elected, with Alexander Meshkov, deputy head of the management committee administration, adviser to the OAO Gazprom chairman of the board, elected chairman of the new supervisory board.
