The government conducts negotiations with Chinese companies about construction of two oil refineries in Ukraine, Ukrinform reported on January 15.
Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky told journalists about this on January 15, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Negotiations continue. Two sites have been considered: in Kherson region and Odessa, in Kherson region on the basis of the former oil refinery. There is the owner there, we also conduct negotiations with him, and in Odessa - on a new site,” Stavytsky noted.
He added that according to preliminary estimates, the amount of investments in those projects will be $1.5-2 billion.
