Centrgaz to Build South Stream Segment in Serbia

Centrgaz won a tender to build the South Stream main gas pipeline on the Serbian territory. Recently, the South Stream d.o.o. signed a contract with Centrgaz in Belgrade.

The tender winner will be responsible for design, equipment and materials supply, construction and assembly works, training of personnel and launching of the South Stream in Serbia. According to Gazprom press service, under the contract, Serbian companies are to be subcontracted for some operations.

The tender announced in March 2014 attracted four participants. Among the contenders were Serbian and Russian companies.
