Azerbaijan To Produce 50 Million Tons Of Crude In 2010

According to preliminary calcualtions, Azerbaijan will produce about 50 million tons of crude in 2010, Azerbaijan Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Abbasov said speaking July 14, at an international conference on alternative and renewable sources of energy.
"However, by the end of the year, that figure could reach 52 million tons", Abbasov said.
Abbasov also noted that at the present time, annual gas production in the country was 23 billion cubic meters of gas. "We expect that by the end of the year, gas production in Azerbaijan will reach 28-30 billion cubic meters of gas", the deputy minister stressed.
