Expansion of capacity at the plant will increase its processing capabilities by 0.75 billion cubic meters, is now able to process GPP up to 2.4 billion cubic meters of associated gas per year. The investment amounted to 4.8 billion rubles.

APG processing on Vyngapurovsky GPP receives from all eastern fields of "Gazprom Neft - NNG" (such as Vyngapurovskoye, Skoryshevskoe and others). On the day of the ceremonial commissioning Vyngapurovsky GPP of "SIBUR" and "Gazprom Neft" also signed a long-term agreement on the utilization rate in the Vyngapurovskoye group of fields in Yamal. As a result of collaboration between the two companies, "Gazprom Neft" will get dry gas, and "SIBUR" - wide natural gas liquids (NGLs), which are the main raw material for the petrochemical industry.

"Construction of the Vyngapurovsky plant is the culmination of regular “SIBUR’s” program to expand gas processing facilities and transport infrastructure in Yamal. We have increased the capacity of the reception and processing of associated petroleum gas, transportation of the products obtained, have created a solid foundation for expanding the raw material of petrochemical production in Tobolsk in the formation of the West Siberian petrochemical cluster "- said General Director of" SIBUR "Dmitry Konov a press conference on the opening Vyngapurovsky GPP.

"SIBUR" also began construction mainline "Purovsky condensate processing plant (CPP) -" Tobolsk Petrochemical". The total length of product pipeline is 1,100 km. The capacity of the area Purovsky Plant - Yuzhno Balyksky gas processing complex (GPC) - 5.5 million tonnes of LPG per year, and in the area of Yuzhno Balyksky GPC - "Tobolsk Petrochemical" - 8 million tonnes of LPG per year. The building is planned for the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Along with "SIBUR" and "Gazprom Neft" on the projects of modernization Vyngapurovsky GPP and construction of a new product pipeline also worked a number of domestic and foreign companies. Main equipment suppliers are "Kazankompressormash" (compressors, Russia), Solar (compressors, turbo expanders, USA), "Frunze NPO" (heat transfer equipment, Ukraine), "Tambov Komsomolets" (tank equipment, Russia), Metso (Valves, Finland). Planners were "NIPIgaspererabotka" (Krasnodar) and LENNIIKHIMMASH (St. Petersburg). Contract work on GPP engaged in "Neftmontazh" (Surgut), "StroyTransGaz-M" (Slovakia). Contractors for the construction product pipeline "Purovsky condensate processing plant (CRCs) -" Tobolsk Petrochemical "were" Evrakor "(reconstruction and new construction of gas pipelines in the area of the field to Vyngayakhinskoye Vyngayakhinskoye compressor station, Moscow)," Tomskgazstroy "(work construction and reconstruction of pipelines from the Ety-Pur field to Vyngayakhinskoye), a company "Sibenergomontazh" (Gorno-Altaisk), "SpetsMontazhStroy" (Noyabrsk) and "Uralspetsstroy" (Surgut) doing contract work for the vacuum compressor stations.

Starting Vyngapurovsky GPP and the start of construction product pipeline "Purovsky CPP -" Tobolsk Petrochemical " were, according to chairman of the board of" Novatek " Leonid Michelson, very important events in the framework of the implementation of the government program for utilization of associated petroleum gas (in 2007 current President Vladimir Putin ordered the oil companies to reduce flaring of associated gas to 5%. - Ed.). For "SIBUR" project becomes more raw materials for the development of investment projects for the development of the Tobolsk petrochemical site. "Both of these events are interrelated - builds a complete chain from raw materials to processing and transport of raw materials to high value added products. Next year should be a final investment decision on a major expansion of the Tobolsk site for which Vyngapurovsky GPP is more raw materials to be provided extremely reliable transport facilities "- said Michelson.
