Key business activities:
Offshore construction and support vessels;
Project management and engineering (from field design, construction, installation and asset maintenance, to decommissioning);
Survey and positioning operations (subsea positioning, seabed mapping, data processing, C3D & C4D visualization, technical software, etc.);
Inspection of subsea pipelines;
Diving operations;
ROV operations.
The company is acknowledged to be a reliable supplier due to its history. DOF Subsea is owned 51% by DOF ASA and 49% by First Reserve. The company was registered as Geoconsult AS on January, 1st, 1979. On August, 9th, 2007 the name was changed into DOF Subsea Norway AS, being a subsidiary of DOF Subsea AS. The head office is in Bergen, Norway.
DOF Subsea Norway AS (DSN) has a 30 years’ experience in subsea services. It has extended its scope by building high-technology fleet. Nowadays this fleet consists of over 70 specialized vessels equipped by Work and Inspection Class ROV Systems, diving spreads, AUV mounted devices, etc.
Nowadays DOF Subsea’s offices are situated in 17 cities of 14 countries in 5 continents: America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Global workforce is over 2200 personnel.
Major clients of DSN are Statoil, Shell, Total and Petrobras.
Some projects on the territory of Russian Federation where DSN has participated: geotechnical surveys in Shtokman field for Shtokman Development AG, pipeline inspection for the project Blue Stream in the Black Sea, investigation of “corridors” for the projects of Nord Stream in the Baltic Sea.
