PetroNeft Resources plc (AIM: PTR), the owner and operator of Licences 61 and 67, Tomsk Oblast, Russian Federation, has discovered another new oil field in Licence 61 at North Varyakhskaya, the company reported in a news release.
Engineers with the Turkmenistan state concern Turkmenneft have discovered a significant new powerful commercial flow of oil at the North Koturdep field in the coastal zone of the Caspian, Turkmenistan.ru has reported. Total announces a major gas discovery in the Caspian Sea in the Absheron block offshore Azerbaijan. The Absheron X-2 well has encountered more than 500 feet of cumulated net gas pays within high quality sands on the northern flank of a major 270 square kilometres structure. Last year's debut forum was attended by 576 delegates.
