Russia and Algeria May Team up on LNG
Russia and Algeria may team up in the LNG industry. It was reported that Russian gas giant Gazprom and Algeria’s state-run Sonatrach are in discussions on the production and exportation of LNG.
Talks between the two firms took place at the 25th World Gas Congress according to the online Algerian press, ANSAmed.
Abdelhamid Zerguine of Sonatrach and Alexei Miller of Gazprom discussed the possibility of developing joint activities aimed an new oil and gas projects, including the production and export of LNG on the world market.
