CHETRA H-511 Pipe Layer Enters the Market

Russian commercial and servicing company CHETRA-Industrial Machines, specialist in sales and servicing of equipment belonging to member companies of Traktornye Zavody, has introduced to the market a new pipe layer: CHETRA H-511.

This pipe layer retains the best characteristics of previous models. Moreover, this model became a "testing field" for those  willing to try unique design solutions, thus providing for improved maneuverability and enhanced load-carrying capacity. At the same time, designers successfully reduced  the weight of the new machine to 46 tons, which makes it possible to transport it on modern 50-ton trailer trucks.   

To reduce job stress for the pipe layer operator, the designers developed a state-of-the-art operator's cabin with conveniently positioned control systems. Inside the cabin, a comfortable temperature is maintained regardless of whether the outside temperature reaches -50 C or +40 C.

Cummis-manufactured six-cylinder in-line four-cycle engine QSX15-C440; liquid cooling with turbo-supercharging and with cooling of supercharging air based on "air-to-air" principle.

At the customer's request, the pipe layer may be fitted with additional equipment, such as a boom having support with an end thrust bearing, which is brought to the opposite side of the trench, and 50-ton load pull winch with hydrostatic drive.
