Gazprom presented the prizes in the area of science and engineering

Gazprom’s Management Committee presented the prizes for 2009 in the area of science and engineering  (Resolution No 45 dd. 29.09.2009).

Gazprom VNIIGAZ scientists are traditionally among prize winners. The First Prize was given to composite authors, including Deputy Director of the Centre "Reliability and Service Life of UGSS Facilities” V.I. Bespalov, for the work “Integrated studies of operating reliability of high strength pipes of new generation of K 65 (X80) steel grades” (applicant organization - Gazprom transgaz Ekaterinburg). 

The Third Prize received the work submitted by Gazprom VNIIGAZ “Theory and practice of application and production of biological substances intended for combating hydrocarbon environmental pollution”. Its composite authors were supervised by G.S. Akopova (Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Protection and |Resource Saving) and included I.V  Balakirev, S.I. Kozlov, S.KH Komarova, E.L. Listov, A.M. Prokofieva (Gazprom VNIIGAZ), A.I. Ishkov (Gazprom). P.B. Avchieva, I.A. Butorova (GosNIIsintezbelok).

Composite authors of the work “Selection and substantiation of best parameters of trunk gas pipeline system from Yamal Peninsula fields as an example of transition to the increased working pressure of 11,8 MPa for transmission of large gas flows” (applicant organization – VNIPIgazdobycha) that was awarded the Prize include Gazprom VNIIGAZ scientists: V.S. Safonov (senior research associate of the Centre “Offshore Oil and Gas Fields”) and O.P. Stureyko (chief research associate of the Department of Predicted Hydrocarbon Resources).
