Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Works that is a part of SIBUR Holding has started production of the first Russian Pulverized Butadiene-Acrylo-Nitric Rubber (PBNR).
Pallmann Maschinenfabrik, Germany, the leading manufacturer of equipment for pulverization of various materials is the process designer of a new 500 kg/h rated capacity plant.
New product manufactured of domestic feed stock will enable the company to increase sales at domestic market through the PBNR import substitution, and to reduce commercial risks in case of a fall in demand of preformed rubber.
Pulverized Butadiene-Acrylo-Nitric Rubber (PBNR) is the material pulverized with the help of special equipment to the particle size below 1 mm. Currently PBNR is widely used to improve viscoelasticity of glue, pastes, fabricated rubber products, footwear, as well as products made of polyvinylchloride, ABS resins and other polymers.
The feed stock for PBNR production is the butadiene-acrylo-nitric rubber pulverized to a powder form, as well as fine grade chalk, talc and suspended polyvinylchloride as a separating agent.
