Peloton Introduces RigView - the Rig Scheduling System

Peloton introduces RigView, a new rig scheduling tool designed to streamline drilling, completions, and well service work.

_editor_peloton_rigview.jpgRigView's easy data entry allows those directly in contact with the rig operation to maintain the information, while other groups can instantly access the most current schedule from their desktop. Drag and drop editing combined with key job information allows to intelligently allocate the right rig to the right job at the right time.

Reports and the job schedule may be all viewed from the same RigView window.

The interactive RigView user interface allows to do the following:

• view the key job information, including priority, location, and current status;
• zoom into the schedule for a detailed view and zoom out for a quick overview;
• record rig specifications, such as derrick type, rated depth, and rated hook load;
• view rig contract information, including dates, rates, and attached contracts;
• highlight important dates in the job (deadlines, milestones, and prerequisites);
• evaluate other resources, such as personnel, equipment, and services;
• create custom reports to describe rigs and job information;
• automatically notify internal users, partners, and service providers of changes to the schedule;
• group jobs for the same rig together so if the date changes for the first job, all the following jobs are adjusted accordingly.
• customize the display to emphasize the data most applicable to the work environment

Colors and customized text on the schedule help identifying the current status of the rig.

RigView is part of Peloton's MasterView framework so sharing information between RigView and other Peloton applications (such as WellView and SiteView), as well as internal systems or third party applications, is flexible, robust, and easy to configure.
