GRASYS, one of the leading European gas separation and air separation equipment manufactures, has presented its new-generation mobile nitrogen compressor station in the MVA-7/350 series.
This is the first Russia-made mobile nitrogen compressor station with the nitrogen outlet pressure of 350 atmospheres. Previously, CIS produced stations showed the maximum pressure of 250 atmospheres. Structurally, the nitrogen station represents a self-contained unit on off-road KAMAZ-63501 chassis. The station may be optionally provided in the self-propelled truck-mounted version with MZKT or URAL chassis.
The production capacity of the station is 7.5 cu. m per minute with the nitrogen purity of 95 percent. The station consists of the following major assemblies: gas separation unit, diesel air compressor, diesel nitrogen booster compressor, and control unit. One of the station key components, largely responsible for its reliability and longevity, is the gas separation unit designed on the basis of the hollow-fiber membrane technology.
The featured nitrogen compressor station allows commencing high-pressure nitrogen production in just 15 to 30 minutes. The station is designated for operation within a broad range of operating temperatures from -50 С to 45 С, which makes its available for operation in all climatic zones across the CIS.
The mobile nitrogen stations produced are recommended by Rostechnadzor of Russia for application by oil and gas wells drilling, development, workover and operation, drilling in pay formations, repair and pressure testing of pipelines and reservoirs in the oil and gas industry.
Advantages of the MVA-7/350 nitrogen compressor station
Outlet nitrogen pressure of 350 atmospheres; previously, the maximum pressure delivered by CIS produced stations did not exceed 250 atmospheres.
Adoption of the most successful and recognized in advanced economies flow chart with two independent compressors: air compressor and nitrogen booster compressor.
Use of high-quality component parts including: air compressor Atlas Copco, booster compressor Bauer Kompressoren.
