Tatneft To Build 30 Filling Stations in Belarus

Tatneft plans to build 30 petrol stations in the Republic of Belarus, the company reported in a news release.
Tatneft registered a foreign Limited Liability Tatbelnefteprodukt company in this country in 2009 for construction of filling stations in Belarus. The investment agreement between OAO Tatneft and the Republic of Belarus was signed and registered with the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Belarus in December 2009. Works are underway on preparation of the documents for land plots and design.
Sergei Sidorsky, Prime Minister of Belarus expressed his support of Tatneft's plans in the course of his visit to Tatarstan on May 14-15, 2010. According to him, the Company was granted sufficient number of plots in attractive locations for construction of the filling stations.
Implementation of the retail supply chain development Strategy till 2011 provides for acquisition and construction of new filling stations, including new regions of the Company's presence.
The total number of filling stations operating under Tatneft trademark amounted to 635 units in the first half of 2010. The volume of retail and small scale wholesale amounted to 807 thousand tons of oil and gas products.
