Turkmenistan To Increase Gas Deliveries To China

Turkmenistan plans to increase the volume of natural gas it supplies to China, a spokesman for the Turkmenistan Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
"We are looking at the issue of increasing gas supplies to China and in so doing, the annual volume will exceed 40 billion cubic meters of gas", the Chinese newspaper Huancao Shibao quotes the diplomat as saying, citing foreign media.
Nevertheless, the diplomat did not confirm how big the increase in fuel exports to the Middle Kingdom would be.
