Jan-Feb Russian Crude Production Rises 3.2%

Russian crude and gas condensate production in January-February 2010 rose 3.2 percent compared to the same period in 2009, the Russian Federal Statistics Service has reported.

February 2010 production grew 3.5 per cent on February 2009, but was 9.2 percent off January 2010. January production was 42.6 million tons.

Russia produced 494 million tons of crude in 2009, a figure 1.2 percent higher than in 2008. Crude exports in 2009 grew 1.9 per cent to 225.881 million tons.
