Gazprom said its asset swap talks with E.ON were progressing with difficulty because energy prices have soared since discussions began a few years ago.
"The composition of assets will be changed because of the rise in oil prices. Oil was at $40 per barrel when we started talks," Gazprom Deputy Chief Executive Alexander Medvedev told a news conference.
