Exxon Mobil has shut all of its Nigerian oil production, totalling about 800,000 barrels per day, since last week due to a workers' strike, industry sources said on Monday.
"There is a complete shutdown of all offices, flow stations, everything. There is no production," one of the sources told Reuters.
Exxon could not be reached immediately for comment.
The supply loss brings the amount offline in Africa's largest oil exporter to 1.36 million bpd, more than half of its output, according to oil companies and industry sources.
