Headed by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee a Gazprom delegation paid a working visit to the Republic of Slovenia.
Within the visit the delegation held talks with Danilo Turk, Slovenian President and Janez Jansa, Slovenian Prime Minister.
The meeting considered the prospects for cooperation in the gas area and discussed Slovenia’s possible participation in the South Stream project.
The parties confirmed their interest in strengthening the mutually beneficial long-term partnership between Russia and Slovenia.
