Bentec Wins Contract for four 250 ton HR 4500 Cluster Slider™ Rigs
Bentec GmbH has won a contract to fabricate and deliver four of its HR 4500 Cluster Slider rigs to Russian drilling contractor SSK (Siberian Service Company).
The contract was signed during last week’s Neftegaz exhibition in Moscow by SSK’s general director, Raphael Borisovich Nuriev, and Bentec’s managing directors Norbert Gebbeken and Arend Loedden. The contract includes an option for SSK to order at a later date up to four more rigs.
Bentec plans to manufacture parts of the rigs at its new Tyumen plant, which is scheduled to open in September 2008. Bentec’s 250 ton HR 4500 Cluster Slider™ rig is GOST certified for operation in harsh Russian environments.
