Gazprom Elects New Chairman of Board

Based on the voting results the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom has formed the Company’s Board of Directors

The meeting resolved to elect Viktor Zubkov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation as Chairman of Gazprom’s Board of Directors. Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee was named as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors

The cumulative votes for 11 candidates elected to the Board of Directors are as follows:

1 500 631 votes were against all candidates with 12 494 339 submitted as voting abstentions.

The Shareholders Meeting also re-elected the 9-member Audit Commission and ratified a handful of transactions of corporate interest to be potentially executed by Gazprom within regular business activities.
